French supermarkets recall sausages due to metal risk
People who have bought the sausages – in supermarkets including Auchan, Leclerc, Intermarché and Super U – should not eat them, and can request a refund

Sausages sold at French supermarkets including Leclerc, Intermarché, and Super U have been recalled due to a risk that they may contain metal.
One batch has been recalled as a result of this concern, consumer website has warned.
The recalled product is the ‘Façon Charcutière’ sausages with Beaufort cheese, sold in packs of four, under the brand Socopa.
They are packaged in a mainly brown box. The box has a photo of sausages to the right, a Swiss flag logo, a Beaufort cheese wedge underneath the text, and a design of mountains at the bottom.
