We all need to start working with nature rather than against her so we must change how we look at our gardens and landscape around us.

Nature cannot survive and thrive in 鈥渢idy鈥� landscapes that are totally controlled by man. She needs healthy soil, grasses, wild flowers, hedges, trees, shrubs and clean water courses.

What can we do to address the rapid decline of our natural world? We must stop using pesticides, herbicides and artificial fertilisers. We must stop destroying vital habitats. We should allow areas of our gardens and landscape to 鈥渞ewild鈥�.

In our garden, we no longer use herbicides, pesticides and artificial fertilisers.

We welcome wild flowers and we leave areas of grass untouched to provide food and habitats for wildlife. We do everything we can to provide a haven for biodiversity.

We have planted over 1,000 trees and shrubs. We do not tidy flower beds until spring so they offer winter protection for animals.
