French police bikers show support for bullying victim
Police, gendarmes and customs officials ride out in support of 12-year-old who had been harassed at collège

A group of bikers gathered in front of a collège to show their support for a young victim of harassment.
The bikers, all members of the police, gendarmes or customs, were moved to act by the plight of a 12-year-old, from Tours, who had been subjected to bullying and abuse.

"He had a lot of problems in his old establishment," according to one of the group on Friday. "We come to support him, show him that we're here, that he's not alone."
Two more young victims of abuse received similar support from members of the club, which has chapters in Paris and Normandy.
The officers said that complaints of bullying do not always succeed, but that did not mean police do not understand the distress of the children and their families. The biker group helps as much as it can, guiding victims and their parents through the process of filing complaints and writing official letters.
Meanwhile, the subject of their support who moved schools several weeks ago, told France Bleu that he feels happier and safer. His mother added: ""It's just to mark the occasion, so that the harassed people can tell themselves that they are not alone."
