France鈥檚 wealth tax nets 鈧�1.8bn

The property wealth tax IFI, which replaced ISF, is bringing in more than expected 鈥� 鈧�1.8billion this year, up from 鈧�1.3billion in 2018.

When it was brought in, it was expected to net about 鈧�850million. Reasons are thought to include more tax inspections, property price increases, and online declaration which helps avoid people undervaluing their homes.
