Electric coaches hit road between Paris and Amiens
Two electric coaches will make regular 150km journeys from April, operator announces

Two electric coaches will soon make daily journeys between Paris and Amiens, operator Flixbus has announced.
Services covering the 150km distance will start in April, the operator said, adding that it hoped to replicate the Paris-Amiens pilot on other lines in the near future.
The vehicles, made by Chinese manufacturer Yutong, can travel 200km on a single charge, and will not cause air pollution during any of their journeys.
German coach company Flixbus moved into France to take advantage of laws, introduced when President Emmanuel Macron was economy minister, that relaxed regulations on long-distance coach services in France.
