Carrefour announces change to loyalty card for shoppers in France

The supermarket chain鈥檚 Carte PASS programme is to be modified in January 2025

The French supermarket giant Carrefour is altering its loyalty card payment scheme - the Carte PASS in January 2025, replacing the discount days with a new system.

Carrefour鈥檚 Carte PASS, which is a Mastercard affiliated credit card launched in 2001, offers shoppers a 5% discount on purchases along with a voucher for 鈧�3 for every 鈧�60 spent on specific days.

These discount days - known as journ茅es Carte PASS (PASS card days) - are to be discontinued from January 13, 2025, Carrefour says.

From that date, the chain is replacing the PASS card day scheme with a 15% discount on its own-brand products on specific days.

In an email to PASS card holders, Carrefour says the system is changing 鈥渢o become even more generous.
