Although sales seem to have become a semi-permanent feature in shops and online stores, the ‘legal’ sales dates for next year have been set at January 11- February 21 and June 28 - August 8.
Winter sales dates are a week earlier in Lorraine and the summer sales in Alpes-Maritimes and Pyrénées-Orientales start a week later for the tourist season.
