The amazing 鈥榯ree鈥� is really six yews that have been sculpted over generations to form a network of branches and a single rounded shape.

Owner Delphine Higonnet says it can be a shelter from the wind and rain, a children鈥檚 playhouse or lovers鈥� hideaway, and up to 10 people can fit inside.

The 鈥榯ree鈥� is in the Jardin des Ifs in Gerberoy, which has been opened to the public by Ms Higonnet since 2016, along with her brother Pierre, who runs a restaurant in the house which was originally bought by their Parisian parents. The garden dates from the 17th century.
