Where face masks will no longer be needed in France from February 28
If a vaccine pass is required, a mask is not, except in certain situations such as on public transport. See our full list here

France is to drop mandatory mask wearing in enclosed public spaces where the vaccine pass is required from February 28.
However, there are some exceptions.
We list below the most common places where masks will no longer be required in indoor public spaces, and where they will still be required.

Department stores if a vaccine pass is demanded on entrance (this depends on local rules)

Religious buildings if it is to visit a cultural event, such as a concert (and organisers demand a vaccine pass for entrance)

Nightclubs are set to re-open in France on February 16, but it has not yet been announced whether masks will be mandatory inside.
