Strawberry jam recalled from Carrefour shops around France
The own-brand jars contain trace amounts of plastic that could be dangerous when ingested

Jars of Carrefour own-brand strawberry jam have been recalled to shops around France after traces of plastic were found, French alert body Rappel Conso has stated.
It said that it could lead to “injury or undesirable effects upon ingestionâ€.
The recall specifically concerns 370g jars that were in shops between May 2 and June 20 with batch numbers F101 DDM 04/2024 or F102 DDM 04/2024.
All Carrefour shops in France are included.

Customers who have bought this product are asked not to consume it, to return it to the shop they bought it at or contact the customer service line and finally to throw the jam away.
Full refunds will be offered. If you do not still have the receipt, the shop may also provide a refund if you return the jar, empty or full.
