A road-marking machine laid down a solid white line, broken white lines and give way markings in just a few confused metres of the D289 between Lescar and Sauvagnon in the Béarn, near Pau-Pyrénées Airport.
Fortunately, the short stretch of road is currently closed to traffic, for resurfacing work, so the markings should be correct by the time drivers are travelling along it again. Good news for anyone with vehicles that have lane-crossing warning systems...
