Rail worker strike causes TGV disruption in south-west France today
The action will last until Tuesday morning (March 8) and includes services to Bordeaux, Toulouse and Tarbes, as well as TER trains

A signalmen strike in south-west France is causing disruption to TGV and TER trains serving the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region today (March 7).
The strike began yesterday morning with signalmen calling for pay rises and the recruitment of new staff in the fourth instance of industry action regarding these issues.
Only one in four TGV trains between Paris and Tarbes were running yesterday. The disruption is expected to be worse today, when the traffic will be 鈥渟everely limited,鈥� according to SNCF.
Two in every three Paris-Bordeaux services will be operating, and one in every two Paris-La Rochelle and Paris-Toulouse trains. There will be no Paris-Hendaye, Toulouse-Hendaye or Paris-Tarbes routes running.
With regards to Intercit茅s trains, three in five Bordeaux-Marseille services will be running, while only one in two Nantes-Bordeaux will be available.
Traffic will return to normal between 08:00 and 12:00 tomorrow morning.

The CGT union has said that SNCF鈥檚 management 鈥渟ays it is unable to respond to our demands.鈥�
