New bike-share scheme fills Gobee void in Lyon
Indigoweel - which operates in Tours, Bordeaux and Metz - has launched in southeast city

Not put off by the recent failure of Gobee.bike in France, an app-based bike-share service has extended its operation into Lyon.
Indigoweel, which already operates in Tours, Bordeaux and Metz, has launched 500 bikes in the southeastern city just over a week after Gobee announced it was pulling out of its last two operations in France - Lyon and Paris - due to high levels of theft and vandalism.
The scheme's app-based business model is similar to Gobee's. Registered users can unlock bicycles they have found via a geolocation system, and 'rent' them for a fee of €0.50 per half-hour, or €5 per day.
