Re a previous letter, I too have experienced the ridiculous situation of being issued with a permis de conduire in my maiden name despite having had my married name for 45 years.

When I pointed out that it only showed my maiden name, even though signed in my married name, I was told to write to the President.

The previous paper licences carried both maiden and married names so why can鈥檛 these new ones?

This hardly lives up to 鈥渆quality鈥� if we cannot have the names we use/choose on our documentation.
