Goat鈥檚 cheese recalled to supermarkets across France
The cheese was stocked in shops across France and may contain traces of metal

Batches of goat鈥檚 cheese are being recalled to Carrefour, Leclerc, Leader Price, Super U and Lidl supermarkets across France because of the potential presence of traces of metal within the product.
At Carrefour, the cheese was sold under the 鈥楥arrefour Classic鈥� label, with the GTIN 3560071093716 and with a use-by date ranging from September 29 to October 13. The products in question were sold between August 16 and September 9.
At Leclerc, the Sainte-Maure and B没che Fondante goat鈥檚 cheese belonged to the 鈥楲es Crois茅s鈥� brand, and had the GTIN 356700606865 or 356700562406. Its use-by date would have sat between September 29 and October 14.
Syst猫me U sold the cheese under the 鈥楿鈥� brand, with the GTIN 3256224310525, with use-by dates between September 27 and October 15.
At Leader Price, the cheese had the GTIN 3263859371319 and its use-by date would have been between October 2 and October 13. The product would have been on sale between August 16 and October 10.
Finally, Lidl sold the cheese under the 鈥楥h锚ne d鈥檃rgent鈥� brand, with the GTIN 4056489554806 and between August 16 and September 10. The use-by dates would have ranged between September 28 and October 13.
There are concerns that eating the cheese could lead to injuries or other undesirable effects for the consumer.
Customers are advised not to consume the cheese, but instead to destroy it or take it back to the shop for a refund.
