Several French ski stations are to join a major Alpine ski network, with a joint pass providing access to nearly 100 resorts.
The Swiss 鈥楳agic Pass鈥� system covers resorts in Switzerland and Italy as well as France.
Those who purchase one of the annual passes 鈥� the first of which were offered in 2017 鈥� have unlimited access to the resorts included.
The majority of these are winter-only resorts, but a few are open during summer, allowing the pass to be used throughout the year-long access period.
Nearly 200,000 Magic Passes were sold for the 2024/2025 ski season according to the Swiss press, a 9.5% increase on the previous year.
Six French stations were included in the 2024/2025 version of the pass, but the new additions bring this up to nine for the 2025/2026 season.

Le Grand-Bornand
Praz de Lys-Sommand
Massif des Brasses
They join the Monts Jura, M茅tabief, Jura sur L茅man, Hab猫re-Poche, Hirmentaz and Thollon-les-M茅mises resorts already included.
The 2025/2026 year will also see 17 new stations in Switzerland join the system. A full list of resorts included in the pass can be seen in the screenshots below.

Currently, the price to purchase a pass for the 2025/2026 year through the is CHF 419 (approximately 鈧�444) for an adult and CHF 282 (approximately 鈧�299) for children under the age of 16.
It allows one full year of access (from May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026) at the resorts in question.
The card is scanned when entering a ski station that is part of the network. Additional purchases such as ski gear may still be required once inside the resort.
The pass will certainly appeal to those who frequent Alpine resorts, which may see an influx of users in the coming years as resorts elsewhere face risks due to a changing climate.
