Flood and rain alerts issued for parts of southern France
Two departments facing tier-three orange warnings, most of country facing some form of alert

Two departments in the south of France are set to face tier-three orange warnings for flooding and heavy rain tomorrow (September 21) afternoon.
The Drôme and Ardèche departments will be put on the orange alert from around 14:00 after being pummelled with heavy rain, from the storms making their way across France.
Starting the day on tier-two yellow warnings, the heightened alerts will remain in place there throughout the duration of tomorrow evening.
It comes as 65 other departments across the west, east, and north of France are facing tier-two warnings for stormy weather, heavy rain and flooding, and strong winds.
You can see the current warnings in place on the Météo France, although these may be updated over the course of the evening if weather conditions worsen.
