I posted the application on December 20th 2016 and received a receipt around the 10th January 2017.

With this document, I also got an invitation to the 鈥渋nterview鈥� at the Prefecture on 28th February 2017. The interview started on time, lasted exactly 30 minutes and was extremely friendly. I was asked questions from the Livret du Citoyen, that every applicant should learn!

At the end, I was told that the file now passes to Paris for 鈥渇urther processing鈥�.

To my great surprise (and pleasure), on July 20th, I received a letter confirming that my application was approved and the grant of citizenship was already published in the 鈥淛ournal Officiel鈥�.
