Car repairs? Where you live could drive up the cost
The cost of getting your car repaired varies significantly across France, a study has found, with 脦le-de-France the most expensive region.
The average car owner spends around 15-20% of their car budget on repairs and maintenance, according to the French Automobile Association Club, with costs in 脦le-de-France around 15% higher than the rest of the country for equivalent work, according to a study by the online comparison website .
The cheapest region was the Hauts-de-France, with prices for repairs 11% less dear than the average, while the Nouvelle Aquitaine and Occitanie were 7% and 6% cheaper respectively.
Conversely, in the Auvergne-Rh么ne-Alpes et Provence-Alpes C么te d'Azur, prices are 9% and 8% higher than the average respectively.
found that it costs on average 鈧�46,04 to have a full electronic check-up, around 鈧�52,34 for work on the brake liquid, 鈧�226,54 for replacement of brake discs, and as much as 鈧�680,23 for a replacement clutch.
