'My French property is overwhelming me and I may leave'
Columnist Cynthia Spillman advises a reader whose French dream has turned sour
Brexit bigots wrecking UK
I write in support of Vic Norris’ letter ( Connexion, December issue ) regarding the bile directed at expatriates.
One of my main reasons for not remaining in the UK is its proliferation of ranting bigots and their immunity to any logical argument.
Brexit appears to have given these people the green light.
Ironically, the country they claim to love – the United Kingdom – will probably cease to exist, due to Brexit being the final nail in the coffin of the Union with Scotland.
There is every chance that Wales and Northern Ireland will also sever the link at some point in the future .
It appears not so much a case of expats deserting their country but rather their country deciding on suicide.
