The property sector is struggling to recruit – with around 160,000 jobs on offer.

The founder of a recruitment website, , Antoine Mesnard, told Connexion that “there are clearly not enough candidates compared to the number of posts to be filled”.
Almost all firms want to recruit people on permanent contracts in the next few years, says the national federation of property promoters. It has launched to help connect those interested in the work with firms and training opportunities.
Jobs range from estate agents, to diagnostiqueurs (carrying out the various checks needed before a sale) to developers who seek out and buy building land for new housing projects.
